About Us

We're Carlos and Angie DeOro, and The Party Lot is a family business — not a franchise, not a corporate rental chain, just the two of us (and occasionally our daughter Leah, who you might see helping out too) trying to make your next event a little easier.

We're both originally from Miami, which if you've seen our logo, probably explains a lot — the bright color scheme comes straight from where we're from.

Here's why we started this: between the two of us, we've dealt with all sorts of companies. And almost every time, it was the same routine — poor communication, mediocre service, empty promises, and yet somehow always quick to take our money. We got tired of that runaround from just about every company we've ever tried to do business with. So we made a promise to each other: whatever we built, the customer experience had to come first, and it actually had to be easy.

Carlos spent years as an ASE Master Technician and has run operations for large manufacturing companies — which sounds unrelated to party rentals until you realize it's really the same skill: paying attention to the details nobody else bothers with, and building systems that actually hold up instead of just looking good on paper. He also brings experience from the ecommerce world into the party rental space, an industry he believes has made itself more complicated than it needs to be.

Angie spent years running the office for an orthopedic surgical practice, where she got good at the part most businesses get wrong: actually taking care of people, not just processing them. She stepped back from that to raise our daughter, and now brings that same care to every customer who books with us.

Together, we handle everything ourselves — Carlos on inventory, logistics, and the trailer; Angie on booking, questions, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. If you call or message us, one of us is actually going to answer — not a call center three states away.
